Writing on the wall

There has always been a method behind my madness, and one clear landmark is distinguished activities of mine. I was to hang a tyre to the cross at the Catholic Church in Florida road. This was during the time of violence 1991 just before COSATU house bombing. Stencilled on the tyre:

'A.N.C. approves neck lacing'.

In 1992 on all electrical switchboxes along Smith Street in Durban I graffitied:

"Stompie cries Justice Winnie".

What amused me was that the council did not remove the graffiti for quite a long time. The South African Security Police were under the impression that this was an attack on Winnie, where in fact it was a reflection on the Security Forces them-selves. This was not an attack on Winnie Mandela. Richardson should have been released. Not only was he retarded but also, he was a common character. The Mandela Soccer Team was well recruited by the South African Security Forces. The C.C.B. was an underground movement fighting

the A.N.C. I was getting a lot of feedback how the security forces were giving Winnie Mandela enough rope to hang herself. This was a psychological warfare.
I will always salute Winnie Mandela for attending the funeral of Marietjie De Klerk. Having gone through the same bitter experience of a divorce this was very special. People forget that when Nelson married Winnie, he got the cream of the crop. And she was the one left with the heavy burden while he was detained.
When the Cold War came to an end South Africa was of no more value to the West because South Africa was a block against communism. And the West still needed to get materials out. The World Bank said no more money otherwise they were going to sanction South Africa. The Nationalist government discovered that this was the end of the road for them. They had to negotiate. And
De Klerk announced the release of Madiba.
A few days later Bishop Desmond Tutu goes on T.V. begging the International Arena to continue with sanctions. A country that hasn’t got solid economic foundations is a third rate country. I saw many companies close during those times. This caused suffering to the women and children in the background. This made me see red. To make sure that I would not fade as a nothing I graffitied:

"TAKE YOUR STASHED NOBEL PRIZE MONEY AND FEED THE STARVING CHILDREN SANCTIONS KILLS POOR OF THE POOR."

These words were graffitied on Archbishop Tutu’s home in Cape Town, on ST. Georges Cathedral, as well on the Cape Times building.
No one could have described Desmond Tutu better than Robert Mugabe. He said: “he is a small bishop with blinkers.”
Ever since King Henry had Queen Anne beheaded, the Roman Catholic and the Anglican Church have been split. The Anglican has remained under the rule of the queen. And that is why I say Tutu has his head under the queen’s dress! Tutu was ordained by man and not ordained by God.
When President Kennedy was invited to visit South Africa (the rainbow nation). He came with the intentions of going to Soweto. Ted Kennedy was refused entry to Soweto because the Azania people threatened to kill him in that area. These youths fled from the townships. Their houses were burned. They were stabbed. Zambia freedom radio came over the radio to say that the third force was to be eliminated. This is where the A.N.C youth and the U.D.F youth joined forces to eliminate the third force. They tried to wipe out Azania, the P.A.C. and the Black Consciousness movement. A.N.C. was declared a terrorist organization. U.D.F was from the mainstream churches. They were part of the A.N.C. wing in South Africa under the leader-ship of Tutu and Allan Boesak. They were getting a lot of money from the Scandinavian countries, which Allan Boesak took advantage of.

If I am kept silent or prefer to be silent, then this is not my victory but the System's victory over me. I have no formal education and I am Dyslexic but this did not deter me, as I realized the brutality and inhumanity that was meted out to the oppressed was inexplicable.
